Hello.

My names Annie, i’m 21, single and i live in Brighton. I’m here in Brighton for university, i am in my second year studying Fine Art Sculpture. I want to use this space to document the work i do here, collect things that inspire and interest me and hopefully promote my work and meet new people along the way.

Im originally from a very very small village called Calder Vale, which is near Garstang, Which is near Preston, Which is near Manchester (middle of nowhere!). I hated it when I was younger, there is one way in and out, and no buses come by! so i was stuck there unless I begged hard enough for a lift. As soon as I passed my driving test, it all changed, I had the freedom to come and go and realised its a beautiful village, my back garden is a Forrest, and they have weekly bingo at the working mans club!

two years ago I moved to Blackpool, I had my own little studio apartment, and a great job in a rock bar. I loved it. I learnt to grow up, I will always have great memories of being there.

And now I’m here, at the place iv always dreamt of being. Art has always been a part of my life. and hopefully always will be!

My best friend is my mum, may sound sad, but she is honestly the coolest women in the world! if I grow up to be half the women she is I will be very proud of myself. I like all things romantic, but mainly when there happening to other people! I don’t seem very good at accepting it for myself at the moment. maybe one day something will happen to me like in the movies! I like things that make me smile, so come say hi :)
